Technical Marketing Manager

About The Position

We’re looking for one of our first hires in our US office, a startup-minded technical marketing manager. We're seeking someone with a blend of both technical and customer skillsets who is passionate about quantum computing. Working with our executive management, customers, and partner, you will have a high-impact, multi-faceted role. You will be a leading voice responsible for telling the world the story of our product.

You will be expected to be a key advocate for its feature set and its benefits. You will help advance the technical buyer’s journey and user adoption through strategic planning and tactical execution of market-focused technical content. The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand quantum computing, determine the customers’ needs, delve into product details, and create deliverables that clearly articulate the benefits of the Classiq platform. You should also be comfortable presenting live demos to customer, partner, and developer audiences. The ideal candidates will have a science degree as well as marketing experience and enjoy working in a highly collaborative but fast-paced environment. 

This position can be remote as long as the candidate is located in the US.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation — Use domain knowledge, technical expertise, and understanding of the customer to create market-facing content such as how-to guides, demo videos, tutorials, white papers, competitive insights, presentations, and more.
  • Evangelism and sales support— Represent Classiq at customer engagements with sales, speaking engagements, etc. Assist members of our sales team on calls with prospects when appropriate to provide deeper dives into the product.
  • Social media - Thoughtfully engage with key influencers on social media channels.
  • Cross-team collaboration — Partner with the product, development, sales, and developer relations teams to deliver content that aligns with our go-to-market initiatives.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Passion for presenting and generating content for technical and business audiences.
  • Exceptional writing and verbal skills with the ability to synthesize technical concepts into simple yet compelling content.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Computer Science/EE, or Marketing strongly preferred.
  • Experience in technical marketing, product management, or sales engineering roles for companies delivering enterprise SaaS offerings.
  • A desire to be hands-on with technology, creating tutorials, market insights, presentations, and more.
  • Independent working style with the ability to take ownership of projects and initiatives and drive them to a successful conclusion.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.

We’d love to see

  • Experience positioning technical products to both technical users and enterprise decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with quantum computing.
  • Experience working with both US and international customers.
  • Experience in a venture-backed startup.

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the US
  • The ability to travel periodically to support internal and external events (as COVID permits). Expected travel is approximately 10%.
