Classiq Appoints New General Manager to Lead Japan Expansion

Tokyo, Japan and Tel Aviv, Israel - Classiq, the leading quantum software company, today announced the appointment of Akira Tanaka as General Manager for Japan. Akira will establish Classiq's presence in Japan and drive growth in the market as demand rises for quantum computing solutions.

Classiq has seen rapid international expansion helping corporates develop real-world quantum applications and hardware providers to expand their offerings and reach. Akira will join Classiq as of the 1st of November having previously served as General Manager at Similarweb Japan, where he played a pivotal role in building the team and successfully growing the business during his six-year tenure. In the newly created role, he will be responsible for sales, marketing, partnerships and supporting Classiq's customers in Japan. This includes Classiq's growing ecosystem of partners providing quantum hardware and complementary solutions.
