We are looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Controller to join our growing finance team at Classiq.
We are a privately held company following its Series C funding round, operating across multiple regions.
In this role, you will support financial reporting, analysis, and operational accounting processes.
You will report directly to the Director of Finance and collaborate closely with colleagues across the US, Japan, and Europe to ensure accurate reporting and effective financial operations.
What you'll do:
- Support various financial and operational activities across the organization.
- Assist with ongoing financial processes and contribute to maintaining accurate records.
- Take part in periodic reviews and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Contribute to internal reporting and provide general support for business insights.
- Collaborate with team members across functions to support organizational goals.
- Assist with planning activities and help track overall performance.
- Provide support on a range of finance-related initiatives and projects.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as required.
Who you are:
- Qualified CPA, graduate of one of the Big 4 firms, Hi Tech department, at list 5 years experience, or experienced controller (graduate of one of the Big 4 firms) in an early stage Hi-Tech company with international subsidiaries.
- Strong analytical skills, hands-on approach, and high level of accountability.
- Proficient knowledge of US GAAP.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with NetSuite is an advantage.
- High level of English – written and spoken.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, teamwork orientation, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
