We are seeking an experienced Grants & Tenders Manager to join us in shaping the future of quantum computing. Our mission is to make quantum computing practical and impactful, and it is trusted by Fortune 500 leaders and governments across the globe.
This role will be responsible for leading the identification, analysis, and submission of public funding opportunities and tenders across the APAC region, including Japan, Singapore, India, Taiwan, and Vietnam. This also includes discovering and supporting Government-to-Government (G2G) programs and uncovering local/national tenders issued by individual cities and various government agencies in Japan and the rest of APAC as applicable.
Note: This is a hybrid 80/20 role with the 20% related to APAC Channel Partners, working with regional Account Executives as well as Customer Success Managers, as directed by APAC MD.
What you'll do
- Searching for and building, sometimes creatively, grant proposals.
- Coordinating with internal technical teams and external partners globally and within APAC
- Managing and cultivating regional partnerships and alliances in general and in specific forms that will support the formation of consortia and other collaborative deals.

Who you are
- Proven hands-on experience in forming, writing, and submitting grants and responding to tenders, specifically in Japan or other countries, with a very high level of English spoken and written.
- Strong experience with public funding frameworks and regulated processes.
- Ability to understand and effectively work with technical and scientific content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform effectively under pressure.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities.
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Bonus Points
- Experience in deep-tech or advanced R&D environments. Quantum is an advantage.
- Familiarity with quantum technologies (a strong advantage).
- Scientific academic background, preferably a B.Sc. in Physics.
- Experience working with international partners and consortia.
- Additional APAC languages (Korean is a plus).
